Senior Environmental Soil Scientist Guanglong Tian then made a status report of the Monitoring and Research Department projects support and other site activities, summary copy attached. Mr. Mike Hays of Fulton County inquired about the Temporary Construction Easement regarding Oscar Linn Hwy, and was notified that the agreement was executed by the Grantee. A site meeting was held regarding this issue earlier in the week and work is scheduled to begin when the flow reduces to pre spring storm levels. Mr. George Hall, of the Fulton County Board, discussed the history of the steering committee meeting. He mentioned that the Prairie Plan had three goals, not lower property values, not pollute the groundwater, and not pollute the local streams and rivers. It is noted that all three currently are successfully being attained. Mr. Hays inquired about the reasons for not allowing more recreational access, and liability concerns along with the need to protect research areas were mentioned. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
