Join the Greater Chatham Initiative for a day of action to green our community and protect our homes and waterways! On Saturday, September 27, from 12–4 p.m. at 1 E. 79th Street, volunteers will come together to plant 400 new trees and disconnect downspouts to help reduce flooding and improve local water quality. This hands-on event is a great way to make a lasting difference in the neighborhood, meet fellow residents, and learn how simple changes at home can protect our environment. All are welcome—bring your friends, family, and neighbors!
